Hum Instrumentation and reference materials. I hold all copyright to my material. The graphs, synthetic ‘HUM’, actual ‘HUM’ recordings. The ‘HUM’ signs, and letters. All Video and audio recordings. ‘HUM’ data, data disk and ‘HUM’ information. The electronics design, structure and layout. Systems are proprietary in nature of use and data collection. All data tapes, including those which were removed during break-in, belong to James Garner/Lenae/Dustin James productions. The ‘HUM’ audio test is copyright. Test tones, questions and resultant answers belong to James Garner/Lenae/Dustin James productions. Anomalies research |
After 9 years of waiting, purchasing parts, gathering together and assembly. Here is the next generation of 'HUM Receiver'. This is only the front end component. It is experimental. Unlike the original receiver input, consisting of sensors, coils of wire, elongated whiskers for the coil to rest on in order to develop the magnetic torque in the coils of wire. Then transfer the torque to the sensors. Then preamplify and filter, and then amplify several thousand times. To boot the whole assembly had to be buried deep in the ground. Oriented in the proper direction. The electronics was all transistor based. IC chips have a low noise or noise cancel design built into them. The IC chips canceled the 'HUM' as it looked like noise. Resulting in circuits of transistors to do the work. This new experimental sensor and support electronics uses a modified Instrumentation IC and circuit design. Picture of the sensor is below. The actual circuit inside the sensor, layout and connections are proprietary.

The above picture is 26.6 Hz wave form. Part of the ambient magnetics in the room. I traced it down to a slow rotating DC fan.
I have great expectations for the sensor at the left. If for some reason it will not function or perform correctly. I will then go back to the original design. First test of the sensor in ambient conditions. Results in repeating wave. After looking around for a while I found a slow rotational DC instrument fan as the source. |

After shutting down the fan. I picked up what I expected to get for ambient readings. 60 Hz wave form and a lot of spectral noise.
Now to finish the sensor(s). Complete the electronics. Prepare filters. Amplifiers and conditioners. Locate a proper container and bury it in a deep hole to keep as much ambient RF, 60 cycle, power tool and equipment noise out. August 21, 2008 jg

August 26, 2008 Second Sensor created. The above Sensor reacts to magnetic torque and long Magnetic Waves. The Sensor below reacts to Magnetic pulse and Long Waves From .5 Hz. to 500 Khz.
Calibration and response testing for latest Sensor are below.

Typical Instrumentation gain for the above photo's 3.3 Meg.
Links will work as I add more information. This is the testing and response period. Circuit modifications. Amplifier corrections. When testing is complete. HUM DATA will follow on a separate page. Thanks
While running response test and thresholds. I need to order 500 feet of Rg 174. Misc. lengths of Belden multi conductors. Proper containers for burial of Sensors. WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT. I CAN NOT GET A ROLL OF 174? THEY ARE OUT OF IT!
Pictures of Second Sensor built will be put on site very shortly.
